Learning Bridge Curriculum

A 7-module curriculum detailing alternative pedagogical approaches that are tailored for students with learning disabilities and other developmental issues. Through discussions on teaching strategies such as concept maps, critical analyses, and pictorial assessments among others, the Learning Bridge Program aims to increase access to inclusive, ableism-free education.

Building Block Factsheets

Four factsheets to raise awareness of the intricacies of learning disabilities such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. Each factsheet includes common indicators, global statistics, and the ways in which peers and educators can support students experiencing these challenges.

The Bridge-Makers Interview Series

The Bridge-Makers Interview Series features the Learning Bridge founder, Tanisha Nigam, in conversation with eminent guest speakers who have conducted invaluable work in the domains of alternative and inclusive education. Through these conversations, viewers will be able to gain crucial insights into their academic foundations, their personal motivations to work in the field, and the ways in which their work have affected tangible change for students and people with learning and developmental disabilities world over.

Thus far, Learning Bridge has had the immense pleasure of connecting with Abhishek Anicca, a disabled writer, researcher, and poet working at the intersection of disability and gender; Midhun Noble and Dr. Bindiya Shajith, co-founder of alternative and inclusive learning haven, Insighte, and their Head of Programs respectively; and Stella Wong, the Executive Director of Learning Bridge’s valued project partner, the Watchdog Early Education Center.
